Why Military Family Boot Camps?
Freedom comes at a cost... Military Families.
Less than 1% of our nation fights to keep America free. Our military service members and their loved ones, active duty, Reserve, National Guard, and veterans encounter deployment and reintegration challenges that impact their finances, family life, and sense of well-being.
Citizen soldiers and family members, especially of those in the Guard and Reserve face additional challenges of finding and keeping jobs while moving frequently and carrying the burden of home obligation without their warrior during deployment. This leaves family members underemployed and unemployed.
Military Family Boot Camps offer a two-pronged solution. They teach the essential skills needed for Entrepreneurship and Communication for successful business and a happy family life.
What are Military Boot Camps?
Live Events on Entrepreneurship
Military Families Need More Support!
Military Family Boot Camps are live events created to educate and empower military families in their quest to be successful entrepreneurs. Some events are half-day, some full-day with dinner and dancing, others are weekend retreats.
Active duty, Reserve, Guard, veterans, and their families face challenges that civilian families do not. They move more often, deal with deployment separations and transitions.
Guard and Reserve components face the additional upheaval of being citizen soldiers, returning from deployment to civilian jobs in new locations. Gone for months, home for months plays havoc with their jobs and careers. Military partners are equally affected, rendering them, at times, unemployable or underemployed. Being self-employed is a solution that requires knowledge about business and communication skills.
Military Family Boot Camp for Entrepreneurs will be launched in 2018.
Events are planned in several locations in the continental United States and in Alaska. We plan to hold events where we are most needed.
To educate and empower America’s Freedom Keepers and their families to thrive as entrepreneurs. Good business keeps military families and America strong.
